Gas interlocks

Gas regulations require most catering kitchens / school laboratories to have a gas interlock system that will automatically cut off the gas flow if the ventilation / extraction system falls below preset operational levels.

They can also optionally isolate the gas supply if a leak should develop.

Gas safety inspection certificate

You are legally required as a commercial kitchen to have a current safety inspection certificate. Safety inspections must be carried out yearly by a Gas Safe registered engineer to ensure your gas appliances are safe and comply with the law.
